2015 The Alibi

The Alibi rounds out our triple threat of Bordeaux-style blends here at Guardian. This Red Mountain blend of 50% Cabernet, 44% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot will greet you with raspberry and sweet red cherry on the nose. These cherry notes will give way to dark, black cherry and smoked spice flavors then finish with hints of vanilla. This wine is rich, generous and polished. The Alibi was aged 20 months on 75% new French oak.  Just received 92 points in Wine Spectator.
