2018 The Rookie

As we joke around the winery this is always Jennifer’s favorite wine and it’s no surprise, this 100% Cabernet is classic Red Mountain. Full-bodied, but still graceful. Bold, yet drinkable now. This gorgeous wine, hailing from Quintessence and Obelisco vineyards, was aged 20 months on 80% new French oak. It features notes of vanilla, black cherry, roasted meats and sweet oak. The Rookie is nicely structured and comes together cohesively with rich ripeness and a mouthwatering finish.
