2019 Five-O

Five-O is our Right Bank Bordeaux-style blend from Quintessence and Obelisco vineyards on Red Mountain. It is 33% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Franc, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot. Immediately you will be greeted with classic dark fruit notes of black berry compote and ripe plum with hints of black cherry.  As this wine develops in your mouth, you'll be greeted with notes of dark chocolate, coffee beans and dried strawberry. Undertones of sage, tarragon and cedar box will permeate this wine.  The tannins are round and well integrated.  This wine spent 22 months on 50% new French oak and a year in bottle at release.
