2020 Gun Metal

Often referred to by customers as “The Guardian,” Gun Metal is THE boss wine around here. A blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot from Connor Lee Vineyard this wine is velvety smooth. Swirl and sniff, you’ll be greeted with notes of black currant and dried raspberry which follow through on the palate with flavors of black cherry and a hint of sage.By aging 22 months on 73% new French oak this wine has developed nuances of clove, vanilla, and cedar. The tannins are silky and well-integrated. Honestly? This wine is the bomb.
